What Is a Mini Facelift?

Through small incisions made in front of the ear, the SMAS layer (the muscular-fascial layer of the face) is tightened, and the skin is naturally firmed.

The procedure typically takes 2-3 hours and can also be performed under local anesthesia with sedation; therefore, a hospital stay is usually not required.

Procedure Steps

1. Evaluation and Planning

2. Anesthesia

Local anesthesia + sedation or general anesthesia is administered. Patient comfort and safety are prioritized.

3. Incision and SMAS Tightening

Through small incisions made in front of and below the ear, the SMAS layer is reached; deep tissues are tightened and secured for a long-lasting result.

4. Skin Re-Draping

Excess skin is removed, and the tightened skin is repositioned in its natural direction; a tight and artificial appearance is prevented.

5. Closure and Care

Incisions are closed with fine sutures; a light compression bandage is applied.

• Sun protection should be maintained for 1 month; SPF 50+ cream should be used
