What Is a Brow Lift?

Brow Lift Methods

Endoscopic Brow Lift

Temporal (Temple) Lift

Focuses on lifting the outer brow tips through an incision in the temple area. Preferred for milder cases.

Hairline Brow Lift

Provides a broad forehead lift through an incision within the hair along the entire forehead length; ideal for patients with a long forehead.

Procedure Steps

1. Consultation and Planning

Facial anatomy, brow position, and wrinkle depth are evaluated; a personalized surgical plan is created.

2. Anesthesia

A pain-free experience is ensured with general anesthesia or sedation. The procedure takes approximately 1-2 hours.

3. Endoscopic Intervention

An endoscope is inserted through small incisions behind the hairline; forehead tissue is released, muscles are weakened, and the eyebrows are repositioned.

4. Fixation and Closure

Tissue is secured within the scalp; incisions are closed with absorbable sutures or staples.

Pre- and Post-Operative Care

• Blood thinners and aspirin should be discontinued 10 days before
• Smoking should be stopped 3 weeks before and after surgery
• Alcohol should be discontinued 1 week before
• Vitamin A, C, and E supplements should be stopped

After Surgery

• Sleeping with the head elevated reduces swelling
• Intense exercise and bending should be avoided for the first week
• Sun protection should be maintained for 3 weeks
• Hair dye should not be applied for at least 6 weeks
